ACR Proof

TermsLast updated 9 October 2026

The terms, on one page

These terms are between you and [[ENTITY NEEDED]], which runs ACR Proof. Using the scan or ordering a report means you accept them.

The free scan

The scan runs 63 automated axe-core checks on up to 3 public https screens at a time, signed out, and reports what they find against WCAG 2.2 levels A and AA. It is free and comes with no promise beyond what it prints. It covers part of WCAG, and it sets no conformance level: a result with nothing found is not a finding that a screen conforms.

Scan only sites you own or have permission to test. The scan is limited to six runs an hour from one connection, and it may refuse an address it cannot reach safely.

The report

The report costs $1,450 in US dollars, paid once at checkout. It is an Accessibility Conformance Report on ITI's VPAT® 2.5 WCAG template, covering WCAG 2.2 levels A and AA for up to 10 screens you name, delivered in DOCX and PDF. A named person sets the conformance level in every row.

The report is due five business days, Monday to Friday, after your payment clears. When a screen needs a sign-in, the five days run from the day the demo account the desk asks for works. Public holidays count as business days.

The report states findings against named criteria on the date it was written. It is not legal advice, not a certification, and not a promise that no one will complain or sue. A later change to your product can change its findings, which is what the receipt is for.

Refunds

If the report is late, you may cancel and get the full price back at any time before it arrives. You may also cancel for the full price before the reviewer starts, which is the end of the first business day after payment. You are never charged for work an outage on our side kept from you. Write to [[CONTACT EMAIL NEEDED]] to cancel; refunds go back to the card that paid.

What you agree to

You confirm you may have the screens you name tested, and that a demo account you supply is one the desk may use for the test. Never send a password through the order form; the desk arranges sign-in details by email.

Names that are not ours

VPAT® is a registered service mark of the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI). WCAG is published by the W3C. axe-core is Deque Systems' software, used under the MPL-2.0 licence. ACR Proof is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any of them.

Law and changes

These terms are governed by the law of [[GOVERNING LAW NEEDED]]. A change to these terms applies to orders placed after the date at the top of this page.
