This site, held to its own test
ACR Proof aims to meet WCAG 2.2 at levels A and AA. On 10 October 2026, the same scan this site sells flagged 0 elements across its 8 pages. The full result is published, receipt included.
How it was built to the standard
- Every colour pair was measured before use: body text is 14.91:1 against the page ground, and the faintest text on any surface is 5.07:1.
- Every control is a native link, button or form field, so the keyboard reaches all of them. Focus shows as a 3-pixel outline.
- Each page has one main landmark, a skip link, and headings in order. Tables carry captions and header cells.
- The ledger's marks always come with words: each row says found, none found, needs a person or not reached.
- With reduced motion set, the ledger appears at once instead of inking in. Without JavaScript every page still shows its content, and the home page still shows the price and this site's own ledger.
- Type is set in Atkinson Hyperlegible, a family drawn by the Braille Institute for readers with low vision.
Known limits
- On screens narrower than 640 pixels, the ledger hides its conformance level column, which is blank in every row, to keep the other three readable.
- A ledger is a 55-row table. Screen reader users can jump between its rows with table navigation, and each row that found something has its detail behind a button directly under it.
- No person has yet reviewed this site against the 35 criteria the scan cannot test. That review is owed and will be signed by [[NAMED REVIEWER NEEDED]].
