What this site keeps

Very little. No cookies, no analytics, no advertising scripts, and no account to make. Each use of your information gets its own section on this page.

Who is responsible

ACR Proof is run by [[ENTITY NEEDED]], which decides what happens to the information on this page. Write to [[CONTACT EMAIL NEEDED]] with any question or request about it.

When you run the free scan

The addresses you paste go to our server, which opens each one in a headless browser, runs the checks, and sends the result back to your browser. The server does not store the addresses or the result. The receipt exists only in your browser and in any file or link you keep.

To hold the free scan to six runs an hour, the server counts runs against your IP address in its memory. The count is dropped after an hour, or sooner when that server instance stops.

Our host, Vercel, keeps standard request logs, which include IP addresses, for the period its plan sets. Read Vercel's privacy policy for that period.

Receipt links

A receipt link carries the whole receipt after the # in its address. Browsers never send that part to a server, so opening a receipt link tells our server nothing about the receipt. Checking a signature or re-running a receipt does send it, on purpose, and the server keeps neither.

When you order a report

Payment happens on Stripe's checkout page. We never see your card number. The order details you type (the product name, company, your name and email, the screens and any login note) are stored by Stripe with the order, which is where the desk reads them. Stripe's own privacy policy covers what Stripe keeps.

When email is connected, Resend sends the desk a copy of the order and sends you a confirmation naming the due date. The desk then writes to you about the report and nothing else.

While you are away at Stripe, your browser keeps your answers in session storage so that a cancelled checkout can refill the form. It is cleared when you close the tab.

How long

The desk keeps each delivered report and the correspondence about it for [[RETENTION PERIOD NEEDED]], so that a buyer can ask about a report later. Ask, and the desk deletes them sooner, except where the law requires a record of the sale.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what the desk holds about you, and you can complain to your data protection authority. Write to [[CONTACT EMAIL NEEDED]]; the desk answers within 30 days.
